Re: Any update on 489 ?

As of lately, no work has been done on the 489. I would think we could be doing some stuff in the shop, like needle scaling the interior of the boiler, removing scale on the side and top of the Firebox, wire-brushing the exterior of the boiler, possibly needle scale the frame of the locomotive to remove all that old paint and such, Replace any worn metal on the cab supports, clean all the parts and piping, clean up brackets and the walkways could be needle scaled and their brackets could be cleaned and such, there is actually a lot to do, but at the moment 489 is just waiting... and soon as something happens, I will get Photographs for the Website....
