Since my first posting, I have learned that stalls 7-10 were not lengthend and remained their original length until they were removed in 1971, along with the boiler room.
Blazeck's drawing of the West facing wall shows what was done after removal of the last four stalls. It is useful in that it shows the overall length of the extended stalls at about 86'.
The boiler room appears to have been roughly half the width of a rear section of one stall, and about half the length of the long brick wall. Therefore, it would seem unlikely that there was ever more than one boiler in there. And, it was a rather ramshackle add-on, it was not brick.
Still, if anyone has any information I would be interested.
Thanks.
