Glad that you remembered that as I thought of it later but did not post. Lazy.

PS: got the book by Cappell on the loging along the Rio Grande. Great review of the industry in the area. The only thing he leaves out is the mills in Chama which he says there is little about. I do know that the Pond Lumber Mill was granted the area for the mill in 1940 from the notes on the 1919 map. I also have a history of Chama book that I need to find and see what it says about early Chama.
