Thanks for the reply. I was wondering if these picts were digital. I can see the obvious difference between my Sony Mavica's 2.1 MP and your Minolta. While in Chama and Antonito this May I never shot a picture with my X700 or my Pentax, doing everything with the Mavica. But then I was only doing snapshots of work session projects and just a few scenery shots.
I too have found the slow issue to be somewhat frustrating with the Mavica I use (borrowed from work). For that reason I would never buy that particular model for myself.
Thanks again for making your photos available and for your website. I always find it interesting and informative.
