Arboles Tender Tank

I have always been confused on when that tender tank was placed at the place that we can find it today. Was this moved from Old Arboles?, or was that section of the track part of the original main line?, and not part of the realignment. I know that I have seen photos taken in the 1950's of Trains passing that tank. I will have to look through my books and see what I can find.
