I assume the "Alamosa" "Durango" "Chama" entries were the Parlor cars. I was under the impression that all the 490s were up at Marshall Pass/Monarch in 1950, but I looked in Bob Richardson's NG News and sure enough, in Jan 1950 5 490s were swapped with 5 480s, with 496 being the first to be traded. I'll never question the crew caller.
