I wonder if the 23 deg. on the spec sheet was based on data supplied by the rr ordering the engine with regard to their max. curvature of track acutally on the ground that the locomotive had to be capable of negotiating? 23 deg. for a Prarrie seems pretty doable since SVRy 19 and 20 without blind drivers handled 24 deg. curves every operating day on the old SVRy. I think the K28's and K36's also neg. 24 deg curves on the D&S if I'm not mistaken.
