The photo shows #10 a short distance north of the summit. The Top of the Mountain is roughly 2000 feet from the new end of track and is not the actual height of land. It is, however, the top of a tortuous series of S curves and a continuous grade of up to 3.5%. Some old accounts say there was some 5% in there but the survey maps don't seem to bear that out. The climb from the Top of the Mountain to the summit is not as bad until you reach the spot where we just laid new track.
