If he wanted to build a copy (replica) of a real car, I would suggest the Morenci Southern little coach-parlor car #102. This car (I'm looking at a copy of the Pullman floor plan) was 30'-1" over the body, 36'-6" over platforms, and 37'-6-1/4" over coupler ends. It had a toilet and a baker heater in the center of the car, a parlor section with 8 wicker chairs, a recessed observation platform with large windows, and four pairs of walk-over seats and two fixed seats in the coach section.
Builder's photos were reproduced in David Myrick's book on the Clifton-Morenci roads (RRs of Arizona Vol 3). Negatives of three interior views negatives are in the collection of California State RR Museum. Illinois Ry Museum has some Pullman drawings.
