Now lets be thankful for what we got. I remember the great forklift we got (and we just keep it in the same broken condition as when we go it but we could not live without it). Now, without it all of you would be loading wood onto the No. 3 the good old fashion way. Hand it up piece by piece. That is after you slit it by hand using a maul and wedge. How about the tractor to run the wood splitter or pump oil...And what about that great Cat. we got to move things around with. And how did we get the work done. We used hand-me down equipment that was falling apart and old throw away track tools, they came with broken handles and such. AND the junk we did not use was sold to get us some money to operate. I remember all of the metal junk shipments to Portland. Norm M. spent many days sorting the good junk from the bad junk for Pug to haul away. SOOoo be thankful for all of that junk as that kept us going and some of it was sold for good $$$$.
OH I forget that was before most of your times. (Jim and Ron won't forget). Yes some of it is junk but keep it long enought and it may become $$$ or ????
