I think the boom truck will in time with some repairs be a fine asset. It makes me wonder if other organizations such as ours find themselves also the dumping ground of things that "just need a little fixing up". It seems that well meaning people donate things/equipment that are no longer servicable to them, because they assume a volunteer organization will have time to overhaul on a shoestring buget things that no business man would touch. I know we need to be grateful for quite a few good things that have come our way, but there are some notable exeptions like a worn out dragline, old combine, worn out diesel compressor, etc. How do other organizations say thanks, but no thanks?
