Dan,
Perhaps I have just been wrapped up in school as of late, but I haven't heard ANYTHING about this "#21" diesel being operational, delivered from Pueblo (I believe this is where it was being restored, please correct me if I am mistaken), arriving in Silver Plume, or being run on the line.
If you don't mind, could you give some details such as dates when the above occured, the size & appearance (paintscheme, lettering) of the locomotive, etc. Also, was it just the diesel that ran over the line, or was the engine tested with a load on the drawbar to test hauling capacity and/or to test the passenger equipment already in the yards?
Sorry about the barrage of questions, just very interested in what is happening with this whole situation. If you feel that it would be better to back-channel me, that would also be okay.
Thanks for any information you can give.
