Railstar's Peter Gores

April 05, 2005 04:58PM
For those interested in Peter Gores' dedication and expertise in the tourist railroad industry, May TRAINS magazine has an excellent article on the Adirondack Scenic Railroad -- which includes a considerable amount of ink on Mr. Gores' 20-years of enthusiastically contributing to the cause. That kind of background should be a definite plus for Railstar's operation of the Georgetown Loop! With his Adirondack experience, Gores obviously knows a tourist railroad isn't built overnight--but more importantly, he also knows something very good can be built from virtually nothing. At least with the Georgetown Loop, he has a decent piece of track to start with.
