The Eureka & Palisades was succeded by the Eureka-Nevada and one of its engines is still around.
2-6-2 type #7 is currently in operation at Silverwood, a family amusement center, at Athol, Idaho. Athol is about half-way between Couer d'Alene and Sandpoint (east of Spokane, Washington).
