Note through all of these line ups, the 24 hr nature of the operation. There were 12 moves in and out of Chama - only 3 of which happened during daylight hours, and the eastbound that blasted out of town at 450pm was in the dark real soon.
Which drives home my old point of "just because you don't have a picture of some operational quirk, doesn't mean it never happened. The D&RGW ran a large majority of its trains in the dark".
