I'm not sure about the power plant area, but University Park is that area around the University of Denver that is centered about E. Evans Avenue and University and the railroad was about 2 blocks to the north at that point. The closest spur to the university was the one that served the University Park Lumber Co., then there were 2 more spurs before S. Colorado Blvd, one on the east side of S. Colorado that served the Peter Kewit Construction Company (later Lerner Shops), one for a green house and then a couple of tracks at the end of the line where the grain elevator stood. The green house received coal by rail and I was on a train one day riding in the caboose when that spur was switched.
