Your shot shows it better anyway, than mine. Nice to see, and brings back memories. Especially like shooting these at first light with the smoke hanging in the cold morning air for several minutes. One 25NC (3436 I beleive was named "Molly" when were there) had the timing off slightly, and you could definately distinguish it from the others. It tended to run the daily passenger train in 1984. One morning at Kraankuil it showed up working a freight from Orange River and blew through town around 40 mph. That afternoon it was on the passenger train back to Kimberly, and we paced it at around 55mph on the gravel road around Poupon. That was fun! Someday I am going to re-edit my SA videos and re-release them. Those are the videos that got me into the business back in 1984!
