I was watching the first part of this film in my english class today, and noted some very nice sequences showing an SAR train. The shots were obviously staged as the loco was running at speed with the cylinder cocks wide open, but are nice none the less. It looked to be a class 25NC with a long haul vanderbuilt tender. I couldn't very well ask my english teacher to pause the thing so that I could get the number off the engine, but the shots are quite good.
