Hi Mr Wilkens and Mr. Knoob,
Ron was very glad to get your responses. He is retired from the BLM now and still very busy. Last night Ron and I talked about replacing the rear grate which resides on a flat car in the enginehouse. He remembers just how hot the grate was and having to cool down 40 to even get it out. He also remembersw blowing the whistle at three in the moring to celebrate the fact that 40 was building steam.
