FYI-II
Dear Pat:
The Port of Cutuco, closed in 1996, is being rebuilt with financing from the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Central American Bank for Economic Integration. Cutuco will consist of three different terminals: one for containers, one multipurpose, and one for
passengers. Port construction began this year, and it is expected to start
operations by the end of 2007 or early 2008.
In the future, I'll keep you updated about any changes in the railroad system.
Best regards,
Lidia Sosa
