Re: Book - "Rio Grande Southern Railroad"

The copy I have - RGS Railroad, copyright 1961 - has a dark blue cover. In the foreword the author states that it "is in general the same as [RGS Story], except that many new items have been added ... and many long portions have been re-written ... adding more stories." It thus seems that the later book is likely the larger one.
Very lightly pencilled the inside of the cover is '10.50', which I presume is what I must have paid for it in 1961 or '62. Of course in those days that was a whole week's worth of "spending money" - or at least three rolls of 35mm film. $10.50 today is barely enough for a decent burger and a beer ...
