Re: Central City/Blackhawk?

There was a locomotive similar to a C-25 that was on display at Palmer Lake in the mid 1990's. It was told to me that it came from Mexico. The railroad it came from was Mexico City portion of that was to link up with rest of Palmer's Railroad. I guess this is reasoning for the location of the display. In 1999 I visited Colorado and found the locomotive missing beside the lake. Out of curiosity, I drove up to Blackhawk/Central City just to see how much change (erosion) had taking place since moving away from the Springs. I then saw it--Like a trophy in front of a casino in Blackhawk.
