OK guys here is something that you didn't know
When this project started it wasn't intended to rebuild the 315, one of our friends from Durango who was dying from cancer had one last wish and that was to have the 315 repainted and lettered to look like it did in the 40's. Well Tom never lived to see it but we contacted the city to see if we could repaint and letter the locomotive and they gave us the OK. Then about a year later we asked the city if we could do some repairs to it because it was in terrible shape wood wise, again they said OK, well one thing led to another and we deceided to form the DRHS, with the consent of the city and their blessings we deceided to see if the 315 would be sea worthy again. And from here most of you know the rest of the story.
