Hi Steve,
What a find that was...never seen this one on the DPL, or anywhere else for that matter; so its photographer remains a mystery. This shot really brings out the looks of this most interesting and good-looking locomotive. I hope the situation with it is resolved soon. For some reason, whenever 74 always turns up in old photos on the RGS, for some reason I've noticed her to always be extremely clean, and (for a black and white photo), shiny. Here's another example, in Telluride...maybe it was just great pride was taken in the old Brooks...
