On your way to Boulder stop by the Clark County Museum in Henderson. It's along the old highway a couple of miles north of railroad pass, just north of where the new freeway joins up with the old highway.
At the Southern Nevada Museum there is a relocated UP station from Boulder City along with a caboose and a box car and a 0-6-0 switcher. Also the last time I was there, there was a "Harriman" coach. The museum building as the usual local history exhibits of plants, animals, indians and anglo culture. But the real interesting part is the relocated buildings (houses and commercial) from Las Vegas and other points in southern Nevada.
