Paul and to others here who are wondering,
PRSL IS a professional railroader and his name has surfaced in some of the more recent posts here. You have to go to several posts to get both his real first and last names. PRSL's personality as it comes across here rubs folks the wrong way frequently. Because of that and because he claims to be in some sort of position that anonymity is necessary, prefers to fanatically avoid using his real name. PRSL has good insight into many things that are railroad, but it is his demeaner that gets him into trouble.
By his own admission some time ago here on this board he admitted to not being able to use his real name for fear of retribution of some unspecified sort. No matter, your point about using one's real name to legitimize seemingly 'official' comments and procedures on how to run a railroad is a valid one. Some of the professional railroaders here know who he is and don't always agree with him, but then they don't always agree with each other. PRSL gets personal at times and that also rubs folks wrong and raises questions about his motives for posting.
PRSL is, well, PRSL. Keep all that in mind when reading, or ignoring, (the choice is ultimately up to the reader), his posts.
