There was a theory that started a debate on this subject here a ways back.
There seems to be two major paint themes for structures along the Narrow Gauge. One scheme is a tan building with dark brown trim. The other scheme is white building with a medium green trim.
Why? I'm not sure that I could answer that, hopefully someone else can.
What does appear is that some of the White with Green Trim buildings appear in New Mexico while the tan with brown appears in Colorado. But the Chama depot appeared in both schemes.
I think this will open a can of worms again
