An article a couple months back stated that CDOT had decided that commuter rail through Clear Creek county is not viable and that all plans are to proceed with additional lanes to I-70. I looked online for that article to post here, but can no longer find it.
Widening the highway is very much like punching an extra hole in your belt to cure obesity.
Why flog here? Perhaps somebody knows somebody that knows somebody that can make a change for a more positive direction. Otherwise, gov entities march in the path of least resistance.
