This sounds similar in price and itinerary to the Trains Unlimited tour I took a year ago, and I had a great time and got a lot of great photos. The aspens were spectacularly golden in the last days of September, 1999, and are probably still pretty good (maybe even better) in October. I'll leave it up to the locals to comment on the likely state of the aspens by October 10 and 11.
