We measured the Pagosa Lumber flat car fall two years ago and all its body beam members were in order but only one end had any draft gear. Only a few metal parts were remaining. It is on USFS property and no parts of it can be removed. It should be declared for protection. I question that it is a C&S flat and not a early straight-air old D&RG flat. Who has firm records that PLCo. bought C&S cars? If so they might have been pulled around by ex-C&S engine-H&H Lbr #4.
This need proof of a photo or reliable data. PRR
