Suggestions

In 1993 our family rode the moonlight charter, after doing the work session. We did a runby at Lobato siding, while waiting for the WB regular passenger to meet us. So that was a second photo-op(the meet). Then we did another runby above the crossing below Coxo.
There was great afternoon light at both locations and there was a spectacular view of Windy Point behind the train. The problem was lack of a photoline, and everyone huddled up too close to the track, so you couldn't get back to do the broadside angle to get the train and the background. I decided not to take my video, and was playing tourist with my wife's 35mm. A little crowd control would be useful, and then everyone should get super shots and perhaps people free as well. There is tons of room at both spots for the entire train load, which is a luxury when doing charter runbys. Normally there is little room! Just my thoughts on the matter.
The dinner at Osier was mediocre, but then I am not that fond of steak since it is usually either too tough or too raw! However, the main purpose of the trip was spectacular with a full moon, and I rode the open gon behind the 484 most of the way back to Chama. The runbys were really a bonus. Also it would be nice to get the loop at Osier back in service so these specials don't have to turn at Cumbres and back to Osier, saving more time for perhaps another runby(hint)in the future(Los Pinos perhaps). You gettin all this Earl! Boy things always look crystal clear from 1400 miles away.
