Thanks for clarification on the authentic nature of the tankcar. I must say though, that photographically speaking, this is one time I would opt for leaving that authentic car off the consist. Besides being photographically challenged, I dislike tank cars behind engines, cause it conjurs up notions of extra water cars for the tenders, which we see on all the mainline excursions, but are not necessarily what was used during steam days.
Maybe as a compromise, it could be toward the rear of the train sometime. I like box cars near the tenders, or something generic looking. Sorry, just being a perfectionist. Thats what photographers do, nit-pick " /> Wish I lived closer to you guys. I have never been to Nevada Northern either. How far apart are Nevada Northern and Sumpter???
