I posted a message earlier but it didn't evidentally get through.
Warren-Lamb Lbr bought a bunch of the very run down C&NW equipment and some of the CB&Q when they were abandoned. CB&Q stock included boxcars, flat cars and some 24 foot logging flats that had been made into house cars by the Q. Perry took a couple of pictures in '33 of X-CB&Q stock on W-L Lbr.
Hyman Michaels scrapped the CB&Q and some of the "better" rolling stock was brought down to Denver in hopes of finding a buyer. The equipment was stored on the C&S in sight of the Griffin Denver plant. There were a few boxcars, flats, the two "cabooses", high side gondola with a large wedge plow and a homemade tank car. They were intermixed with a few B.O. C&S gondolas. Ther was no buyer and the cars were salvaged for metal and bodies sold or scrapped probably in early 1942.
