Thank you for the responses. It would appear that this car is indeed a CB&Q narrow gauge boxcar. I borrowed a camera to take some photos of the car and will post them as soon as I get them. I guess now I will have to try and talk the farmer out of the car.
Any one have a guess as to how a car that was used exclusivley in the Black Hills of South Dakota (and most likley scrapped in 1930) ended up as a shed on a farm east of Boulder Colorado? Odd to say the least. Any record of the Colorado & Southern ending up with any of the CB&Q narrow gauge freight cars?
