Haha! That's what my dad has told me. When we were testing it, he said, "Wait until you hear it on 200 pounds!" They "split" the air!
I have a good recording of a U.P. 4-12-2 #9052 in Lincoln Nebraska making up it's train to head down the Kansas Division, and when he does the highball...man o' man. I listen to it over and over!

BTW Phil, I think I noticed a Star Brass on #40 on the pictures posted of the last day on the GLRR. I immediately recognized it as a Star Brass. They sure are pretty whistles. More so than one with a Nathan Bowl...
