One question. Were the guys who paid for the trip also chasing the train from Chama to Cumbres for their shots, or did the train make runbys for them away from the highway a few times up the hill.
I guess I see both sides of this issue having sponsored some in the past. Without the riders there is no train, but once they are all paid, then who gives a flying hoot who chases. The name of the game is to get the RIDERS(who paid) to some special locations and give them a show that you normally don't get.
My only concern with this train is all the passenger cars on the train. There must be so many riders that they have to put them somewhere, at the expense of the thing you are trying to do in the first place, a freight train!!!!!! I bet the videos all kinda look funny with a freight train and a bunch of box car coaches on the rear! What period are we portraying, early C&TS!!
Still guys of course can crop out the last cars but video doesn't lie! Am not suggesting a better alternative to the train they did, except to keep the numbers of riders lower to delete the passenger box cars. This means higher fares of course, and likely less riders overall at the higher price. No, there is no perfect scenario!
