Thanks Kerry Ann,
now I understand, I think?
"The CRRM is owned by COLORADO RAILROAD HISTORICAL FOUNDATION, INC, a non-profit organized in 1964."
"The Georgetown Loop Railroad, Inc. is a private business."
OK so this private business owns tank car 59, and a bunch of other rolling stock, including loke #40?
The Georgetown Loop Historic Railroad and the Georgetown Loop Railroad are trademarks (only filed since July 2004) of the CHS.
What then is the CHS? What do they own?
Am I assuming that the right of way, bridges, etc. are on public property and belong to the people of Colorado, yes?
Who owns the rails, switches, etc?
All those acronyms can be mighty confusing to someone outside Colorado.
