They're some excellent photos Roger. Glad you post them.

And on the subject of birds flying within reach, an old engineer I knew on Rogers Pass had crows so tame that they would fly beside the cab and take tidbits from his hand.

Wildlife is fun to observe, and I always have binocs with me while waiting for trains.
