I remember pulling the No. 10 (pop car, inspection car ,Fairmont, motor car, speeder etc.) out of the No Agua shed in 1980. It had not run in years. Replaced the old style dry cell battery and after a lot of tinkering got the thing running. Nobody realized how fast this car was. Gave all of the volunteers rides. Proceeded in running it off the end of track with one of the CRRM Trustees aboard. Uncle Bob told us put it away before somebody got hurt. Bob also told me that the pop car came off the RGS and he brought it up from Alamosa to Golden. Jeff Taylor can attest to the car's history.
