Jeff could speak more completely to it, but we believe our motorcar #10 to be the one pictured here with John and Josie Crum. These were taken in 1953 during the scrapping of the line. Looking closely, the car pictured has a number of small "battle scars" and modifications that match with #10, and we have recently confirmed the identities of several RGS Fairmont cars at the museum by cross referencing the serial numbers on their engine tags.
Again I defer to Jeff, but we believe we have 3 RGS cars on property: one complete / running M-9 (as discussed), and two derelict ST-2s (one with its engine blown up). It's also possible that one of the wrecked frames we have on property is RGS (also an M-9, would be a sister to our running car), but I don't believe that's been confirmed...
Though I don't believe it's gone before the board, we in the shop have discussed constructing a larger, dedicated speeder shed sometime in the future to house not only our motorcars but also our SG handcar and velocipede... This could also be a good space to display cars not in operation, and interpret the history of section gangs within the state. While it's not a priority now, wouldn't it be nice someday?
