Jerry Hoffer sits on the board of Directors for the DRHS and the SJCHS. He is leading the efforts for the restoration of the Silverton Northern Engine House and the Mining Museum in Silverton. In Silverton, he Owns the Cora Mears house ( daughter of Otto Mears, founder of the several RR's in town) and of lately winters over here in Farmington NM. Had breakfast with him on Friday.

Yes he knows a lot about NG RR's in Colorado...and Silverton history. And he and his lovely wife are just dog gone nice good people...
