There isn't a specific building that it is based on. We thought board and bat was prototypical of some buildings on the railroad, so we went with a metal siding that has a board and bat appearance. We hope to reside the nearby car shop with the same style of siding if we can find grant funding to do it. Long time member Jim Grigsby, wearer of many hats did the initial CAD drawing for the buildings which I then took to a guy that does building plans to be sure it met code requirements.
