While not the extra train, 493 rounds the Horseshoe on the High Line with the first class cars far back towards The Shelf (so still all Gold). The Extra 481 South will not arrive for another hour. In between now and then the snow will bring visibility down to about 1000', and by the time I get back to the tracks, it quits and melts so fast it's like it never happened.

While not clearly visible, it turns out that Engineer John has decided to swap seats with fireman... John... I guess he didn't want to see what was on the other side when he came up (he likes side canyons and such
).

Back in Durango at 15th Street, the snow is coming back, but nowhere near as it was in the higher reaches. Jerry was on the other side capturing the other side as the extra rolled in.
