Did the Sumpter use log bunks to haul logs? Basically a truck with beams and a coupler on which one end of the log(s) rests, tied down to the beam, and the other end of the log rests on a similar truck with beams and coupler. There might have been a stiff shackle between the trucks. Used quite a bit on the 2-foot gauge SR&RL.
