Research. There has to be "Gunnison" stories in the minds of children, now way up in years, and maybe a DRGW employee or two who may still be living. What items are in that family trunk or box in a closet? The real problem is tracking these folks down. It is amazing the phone calls I received after our first book on the C&S narrow gauge came out . Calls that went like; "we were cleaning out my grand parents house and we found this box of items from when they lived in Como and grand dad worked on the railroad. Are you interested......."! Great Scott! There are items beyond the institutions, but how does one find the items? And now days some newspapers that are microfilm are now digitized and on line. While newspaper items may be embellished one can use that to set the stage for more "digging" and another family photo album. Tom Klinger
