They are headed for Brook Rother's shop in Georgetown, CA. These locomotives are to be used with the Kauai Kilohana tourist 3' operation in Hawaii, which he is involved with. The operation calls for 2 Hawaiian-Phillipine locomotives. I will look for the news article here, Phil Reader was the one who told me about it so he'll probably chime in with more information. Brook Rother restored Hawaii Ry #5 now about a half hour from me in Kent, Connecticut.
I'm presuming you're the same Howard Wise who put together the SP 1269 book? Great publication, I'm trying to do something similar in format. I should look for my copy...
