When I was in Skagway back in 2011, I was amazed at not only the number of coaches that the railroad owned, but the number of different series, all of which had some unique looks and features. There were wooden cars from the original railroad as well as Sumpter cars, steel cars and recent builds. I suspect the fleet is significantly larger now, and there are probably a lot more of the recent builds.
Is there any effort to keep the various series together as trains? The video would lead me to believe that's not the case. Also, does the railroad have a rehab schedule in which cars are cycled through for repairs, siding issues, repaints, etc?
