And I haven't lived in Colorado for many years. IMHO rebuilding the
Colorado Springs & Cripple Creek District RR would make a lot more sense. Plenty of people going both ways – wealthy uphill, broke down – with the added benefit of taking a lot of drunks off the highway from Cripple back to the Springs.
