Great video! And you bring up a point I'd been pondering... if she'd ever been up the Silverton Branch before. I'm guessing C-19 usage on the Silverton branch would have been pretty limited in the early days, as there were only 12 of them, and they seemed to be found on the likes of Marshall Pass, Cerro Summit, Cumbres etc until the Mudhens started displacing them (at least on Marshall) in 1903.
Then she was sold to the RGS in 1916, and obviously was In Durango a lot after that, but under different ownership.
If anything, I'm guessing 409 wasn't a regular to Silverton in the day.
Ever wonder why the 411 became the 40 and the 409 the 41? Had it been reversed, the RGS would have simply had to block off one number
