Hi Dan,
The Como Wye is still a goal. However, we do not have rights to the ROW north of the trestle yet. Those discussions are still in the preliminary stages. IF we can secure the ROW, more rail and ties will be needed. Fortunately, we have a great relationship with the BNSF so a supply of used ties is really not an issue. Of course, we would still need to ship them to Como.
We do like to compare ourselves to the WWF guys. What they are doing is amazing and a great inspiration. We still have members that think re-building the roundhouse extension is "impossible" so that's when we show them what the WWF guys are doing. Heck, the WWF is even building a replica of a locomotive that originally ran on that line. What a great idea ......

I think what your group has done so far is amazing. Glad to see progress is continuing! Maybe some day track will be laid to the wye so Klondike Kate (and perhaps others) can stretch its legs. Is there enough rail and ties available on site to do that? Are there any other impediments that would prevent that from happening? What you are doing is comparable to the WWF guys have done in Maine. Keep up the good work!
